Oh, are we related??
Nicholas had his birthday party on Saturday.. over a month late. But Dad wanted to go and I had a real present for him this year (he's getting older, so he's easier to shop for), so I told Robert we would be there.
I went to pick up Dad and he had made some Korean food for lunch. And then I had to drive to Milledgeville, which was an adventure. I haven't been there in years. But we managed to find the place where they were having the party.
Robert and Gege decided to rent a block of time at a bowling alley. I got there and they were waiting for their lanes to open up. Robert said Eric and Matt where coming. Orly? I was in the "I'll believe it when I see it" mode since they rarely show up for anything. But lo and behold, they both show up. All for of us in one place and it wasn't because anyone had died. It's a miracle. Not counting the time I ran into Matt at Kroger and we talked for literally 2 minutes, I don't think I'd seen him since Mom passed away. We had a nice visit. Even if it only lasted for a few hours.
Had a doctor's appointment and then had to go grocery shopping. So, I'm tired. I hate going to store. It makes me cranky and I think ugly thoughts about humanity when people stand in the middle of the aisle. Or they park on one side and stand on the other side. Or they park across the end of aisle to have a conversation on their cell phone.
