So once again I have had to bid adieu to my loving Kidz. Max didn't even try to hide from me this time. He's getting too accustomed to this repeated abandonment. At least he didn't make us waste any days this time; I got good luvings from my #1 Son every single day and night. Someone said yesterday that I look rested; I attribute it to a superior five-week regimen of cat therapy, than which there is no better remedy, at least for me.
Got a "graduation photo" pose of JJ - you know, with the head tilted just so and the paws folded in front? Silly Boy.
Athletic Ajax remains the Mad Gamer but has become a loving child as well.
Cuddlebug Comet still likes to hide but actually bid me goodbye, albeit from the dark recesses of her closet perch behind the hanging garments.
Lovely Lady Nouna and I have come to an understanding that free souls need fresh air but are willing to come home on request (not demand) if trusted.
Yes, I'm full of thoughts of my cats right now; what's your point?
Doctors gave me a (fairly) clean bill of health. Told them it was just a mix up...
Dad gets sharper every time he is allowed to sit and watch CNN with closed captioning endlessly, so I'm off to get him his very own flat screen today. About time, you say? Well, okay...
Gas wars: Time to swap out with China - let them fight over fossil fuel while we invest in bicycles and mass transit while searching for alternative fuel solutions...
Corn: College joke has become national flashpoint in fuel crisis. Who woulda guessed?
Movies: Yes, wanna see some.
Saw Iron Man and The Hulk, both featuring A-list leads who reminded me of how much richer I found Marvel comics than DC's when I was pubescent. Interesting how Ed Norton slipped right into Eric Bana's role and Liv Tyler succeeded Jennifer Connolly without skipping a beat... And how perfect I think post-rehab Robert Downey, Jr. is as Tony Stark.
In keeping with the early summer theme, I finally got around to watching Spidey 3 - graphics were a bit sloppy in transition, I thought... Kirsten Dunst looks as tired of her role as the comic book MaryJane became of her on again, off again requisite part-time girlfriend post. Ah well... time to move on...
Still want to see Narnia: Prince Caspian. Met someone with the hots for the new Caspian. It was funny to hear 26 described as "a lot older" to a table at which no one was under 30... Poor kid - you have to sympathize with young 'uns subjected to adult company in isolation... Good sport (adjective and object)...
Rambling... again... need to go buy tv... latuhs.
P.S. Always only watch series as set, either on dvd or downloaded from iTunes. Any other way is a waste of time, energy, and stress. ;->
