Well Once Again on the Homefront
The fire headed East, parallel to our back fence, and did not come over the hill toward us. There is a campground closer to town that got evacuated but the fire was put out before reaching any of the houses or the campground. Way too damn much excitement for us, Mom and I have been sick since the thing happened, but we have go bags packed now and will be ready if it happens again.
In much better and more fun news, I have my class schedule. I am taking Lit for Children, Intro to Religion, Web Page Design, Wellness, Collegiate Chorale and Applied Music Piano. It's a total of 13 credits for this semester. Now if the Pell Grant comes through, I am set.
BillyJake continues to grow like a weed, he gained nearly a pound and two inches and is not quite a month old already, still cute as a thing that is very very cute.
My gums are healing and I haven't had to take any pain meds since Wednesday, and I seem to be avoiding dry socket and other pitfalls of post-denstistry whatnot, yay that. My hand (and honestly my hand, wrist and half my forearm) still refuses to work properly and is painful. Even on constant pain meds it was painful, there just should NOT be pain that can break through a fistfull of Vicoden, know what I'm sayin'?
