I did not list this as a talent, but sometimes I make icons. Mostly I make icons that amuse me and mean nothing to anyone else, and that is just fine. Today I made an icon from artwork by the lovely and talented togsos because it made me happy, very so much happy.
A long time ago she made a piece of art with me as a chibi. Today she posted a different artwork and there was a piece of origami in it. I mashed the two together (not terribly well as I am not an artist and I do the best I have with the paint programme on my computer) and made me an icon that just plain makes me smile. Remember a few days back when I said one of my favourite stories I have written has swans in it? In the beginning story one character is missing his partner and has left a trail of origami swans which his partner has picked up and at the end the partner leaves a trail of swans which the character follows through the apartment to find his partner. It's sappy and dumb and I don't care. So I made this icon.
(and anyway, I can't do a reading in my journal that would make sense or use my phone voice because I can't do voice posts in DW, so those were right out)
