what was I planning again?
So I got this story idea, and started it, and then added another page or two tonight, and then, I dunno, it's not terribly resolved, but it isn't hanging there undone either. It kind of resembles my life currently, it seemed like a good idea at the time and then I got off track somewhere maybe, or, I don't know. Gah.
Had a nice chat with DHM, oh he of the long absence, man, I forget how much I miss him until I chat with him. That was nice. We chatted about the Return to Cali trip, since we had planned to go back in five years and that would be next year already. Wow, how time flies. We're flying this time though.
Incidentally, the computer scans free of bugs, so that is nice, just a short infestation of nasty all gone now.
I need to be more well read, but holy shit when do I have time? Also, wish I actually had studied chess when I was younger. I know how the game is played, I just don't know all the strategies and names of things other than castling(and who does that, anyway?) and wish I had that all in my head.
If I were a superhero, I would want one of my superhero abilities to be photographic recall, and then I could read a book on chess(or whatever) and it would all be there in my brain whenever I wanted it. I'm putting in my order now, just in case it becomes available from some random radioactive spider or something.
