Once upon a time there was a little goblinchild who lived Nowhere. She was banished there by the Cold Overlords who became fed up with the shadows that followed the little goblinchild wherever she went. She lived in an icy small house that was also inhabited by a frightening creature that would change from a friendly companion to a screeching harpy. She never knew when the creature was going to change, but she found that it mostly stayed pleasant if she fed it upon sweat and lies, so she did, but it made her very tired.

The little goblinchild spent most of her time hiding of trying to escape. She tried to find something that would take her far away, but it was hard sometimes because the shadows would swoop down so that that it was too dark to see. The shadows never bothered her in her sleep so it was one of her favorite things. It was a miserable and curious existence that made fleeting happy occurances times to be treasured indeed.

The little goblinchild had lived Nowhere for two hundred days and three hundred nights and had not mad a singe friend. She had once come across a boy but he turned out to be a Creepy Beast in disguise. She she was alone, which was okay because it left her with the opportunity for some much hated but much needed sorting of the brain.

One day the little goblinchild was walking by herself in the forest when, all in one second, the shadows dissipated and a brilliant light took their place. The next second she was dead. Her body decomposed quickly and soon there was no sign that she had ever existed.
