Weird Dream
I had the strangest dream the other night... I shall tell...
I was in a Victorian Era city, Melbourne, maybe New York etc... and I was on an escalator, and at the top the opening was only tiny, I almost had to lie down to get out. But then I turned around and got back on. At the top, I got tangled up with this bloke who looked like he hadn't anywhere else to be. In fact, he told me as such. Then after we got untangled, I saw the signs on the ground 'First Ride, $8'.
That guy seemed to be the focal point, because I was then thinking how sad it was that he's got nowhere to go and he rides the escalator all night or day or whatever because he's got nowhere better to be.
Freud would have a field day.
