A day can change many things...
I remember looking at my watch on Friday at we were about to leave from the DWFoM, and noticed that it was exactly noon. When I looked at my watch on Saturday at noon, I was sitting underneath a waterfall in the main swimming pool of a high class resort in Orlando with Andy and Dony. A day well-spent, if you ask me.
The 23-hour car trip was highlighted by the almost ceremonial stop at Krystal Burger at 3:30am to consume what are absolutely the most disgusting burgers you've ever dreamt of, which was well-documented on video, and starred the rednecked guy who called us over and introduced himself to the camera as a "local hero", who "specializes in female fantasies", claiming also to be a "lover by day, fighter by night, and drunken by choice".
Our resort is just absolutely ridiculously out of our league, but everyone has been really nice to us. The guests seem more entertained than annoyed by us, which is good.
Today was Universal Studios, which was ridiculous. We barely covered the park (including Islands of Adventure, the thrill-ride side of the park) over the course of the day, and everything was very cool. The lineups weren't too extreme either!
It's actually been relatively cool here so far, only about 20-25 degrees. It's supposed to get nicer throughout the week though.
