I have about 20 minutes before I have to go downtown to rehearsals for Charlotte's Web, so I puttering about the library.
I finally remembered to drop off posters today, and I got here at 2PM. After browsing the stacks and discovering a bunch of interesting books, I now have time to kill before my 3PM call.
I ran some errands, went to the gym, and made lunch, but I still have time to burn.
Usually, I would have used this free time as an excuse to do some window shopping downtown, but I still have a bruise the size of a saucer on my left thigh from falling down two weeks ago, I'm not in the mood to deal with the ice covered sidewalks.
I do have to admit, I did have an interesting run in at the grocery store. I went a picked up some cold cream and an eyebrow pencil for the play. (I've got to shade my mustache or else it's not going to be seen. Curse this red hair of mine.) The cashier made a sour face at me when I checked out.
Jesus, can't a guy buy an eyebrow pencil without having people be prissy about it?
So I just did my campiest voice to her and sauntered away from the checkout. God, flaming amuses the hell out of me sometimes. I think I rained on her parade. I do love raining on peoples parades. I suppose that this makes me a bad person.
Anyway, I'm off. Five hours of tech rehearsal today, and then a week of audits, rehearsals and shows. We open Thursday...
