The whole prom situation has backfired. The guy I asked, i am pretty sure, doesnt want to go with me. He avoided a yes or no answer last night, which hurt my feelings even more. We are just friends...but i dont like being lied to. He told me that I should try and find another date, but if i couldnt he would go with me...cause we're good friends. ( Read more... )

Yeah, it's lame.I just saw you, so you know how I feel about this, but honestly, just so that everyone else is aware:
Prom is more of a hassle than anything. You have to find a dress, and a limo, and a bunch of other crap...then if you do get asked, it isn't usually by the person that you want to go with, not in my experience anyway. So at this point, I have no date, and no dress, and I'm so tired of trying to figure out both of them that I am now either going to settle for things that I don't really want, or I am not going. It sucks!

Well dad-gummit!!!! I just had this whole thing typed out and then i fooled with it and deleted it so this is the second darn time I'm typing it out so i hope i remember everything! Okay in response to Christina's commment...I would have absolutely loved to go with Kelly! Unfortunately there is no way in theis universe that that is going to happen because the next week is my college finals week so I really have to study for them which sucks none-the-less!! Moreover I was extatic when she asked me and I was absolutely devestated when I had to tell her that there wasn't a way for me to make it! Anyways even if I didn't have finals I would have done my best to get the money to make it but I do have finals anyways moving on! I agree with Megan's comment that Prom really is a hassle and that you will make unwilling sacrifices to go! Which sucks! But hey guys don't let it ruin your good time that you will have when everything works out in the end!! Well I'm tired and I'm talking to Kelly so i'm out for now....later gals!
