What is next is to develope a practice. To set a time each day whether morning, evening, or mid day, to find a spot or create a space that is inviting. And to have on hand the utensils of writing. Whether it be pen and paper or computer, tablet, or phone app. And finger(s) to type.
Then subject... What to write about ? The who, what, where, when, and why of the moment, day, week, month or year(s). What do I feel, think, know,,, what am I curious about ?. What needs to be recorded and/or explored, Is it for me or you, or others to know too.
Persistent. Pending unanswered questions, or happenings that need resolution. Do they really or is it just a torture of the mind. Writing it out and then possibly reading it later... May find answers to that...
Sometimes, writing the happenings or a history of the day; including happenings, actions and feelings helps too. Rereading it later may help place perspective?
P's ancestors kept journals. Logs of their adventures or daily chores of the day....hmmm
