Unseen Enemy
I'm in love with 
the world.
I'm a river flowing 
through the streets
 in  a 
jerky,  swaying 
motion 
             like a faucet 
that wasn't well 
closed.

I feel changed
 around 
             and instead falling
 down, 
smothered by 
fire
 ants                                                       towards 
an 
unseen
  death

I'm a river flowing 
through the forest 
until an 
overgrown 
        cemetery
 comes into
 view.

and a
 beginning,
every poem 
is an 
epitaph."
  I'm in love with 
the world,
an entire 
constellation of 
               well-known graves 
hidden, always facing
 forward
 like the paintings     you see 
          in those old houses.
