Dropped a TV on my foot today
I guess now is a good time as any to get this US blog started!
I've just moved to Marysville, Ohio, USA 4 months ago, and I've seen my first hospital. A TV the size of the desk I'm typing on right now just fell onto my foot.
If this was the Philippines, 3 stitches could cost, I'm GUESSING maybe P1,000 or $25. Over here, the lady who was cleaning my foot up told me it could skyrocket up to $700 or more. That's P28,000!
I'm really hoping it doesn't get that expensive, but since I don't have insurance yet, I feel like I'm screwed. They have this little form that they had me fill out though with my Income and my Wife's Income and all that. For me, i wrote down "My gross income for the past 3 months is $0.00"
