My lower right wisdom tooth is proving to be a major SOB. The dentist warned me that it's growing out crooked the last time I visited him for a checkup and that an eventual removal is inevitable. But that was a few months ago, when it didn't start to hurt like a bitch.
For the past week, it has been a daily chore to try and stifle the pain with paracetamol and ignoring the pain that remains. Basically, when I move my jaw, I can feel the tooth grinding against the inside of my cheek. And my gums have become very sensitive and irritated.
I made an appointment with the dentist this wednesday for my usual checkup since it was coming up anyway. He can take a look at my tooth and assess whether it has grown out enough to be removed by the surgeon or that something else is in order. Though I am NOT looking forward to it, I hope I can have it removed ASAP.
At school, my classmates had to tell me creepy stories about wisdom tooth removal misfires -w- Thanks a lot, guys!
