go team festivals!
so i have somehow weaseled a late entry into AthFest 2006---which i'm pretty excited about because....
1.i've never been to athens, but always heard good things
2.i love a good music festival, and this one has great reviews
3.a three day festival is just what i'll need before heading west
4.drunk college girls love my jewelry. i don't know what that means about me as an artist, but i like the dollars!
also have spent the morning choosing jewelry for the new website i'm consigning on. then i'll take it all into work tonight and write up the descriptions and all that jazz...and with any luck, it will be in the mail tomorrow or monday. prolly monday since i have a bunch of other packages i need to send out and i may or may not get then ready tonight.
i am in love with my new planner. it's black leather(or rather, leatheresque) and it has a photo window on the front, so right now i have a b&w of the chrysler bldg that i took in nyc. i like the idea that i can change the picture with the season, or whatever--just change it from time to time and freshen things up.
also in the quest for organization, finally got a huge desk caledar hanging on the wall with everything on it, so now i can see everyday what's in store for the near future and hopefully it will help the little things like remembering to send my bro's bday card on time, or make sure the gas bill is paid by the 5th.....
now, off to sleep before work work work!
