I just realized why it's called the carpet book (silly me).

Well I enjoyed the book, though I agree with you on the epilogue (and maybe point 4 as well). I don't care much for ships, but yeah the romance bits in 6 and 7 are... blah to say the least.

I suppose I'll like it more after rereading it. There are good chapters and there are bad chapters. I hope that the good chapters will overshadow the bad ones when I read it again.

BTW, have you read ASoUE? Epilogue was kinda similar -- well it popped into mind while reading it.

i have to admit. I'm halfway through your book and it's gotten very exciting already. Don't dismiss it just yet. ;p

Having said that, I still think that Harry should have ended up with Hermionne, on sole basis of the fact that that they've shared their lives with each other. Hell, if I was Harry, I'd snap out of my Ginny (whom Harry didn't exactly become close to in the emotional sense) fixation and go for the ass-kicking Hermionne.

Then again Hermionne was an occasional nag. :p
