The show Friday night was a GREAT success. It was just at a local coffee shop, which is an environment where usually people don't listen to you and are in and out... but this place was so cool. At least 6-8 people came up afterwards to talk to us, give a donation and get a CD (we're doing it like Radiohead!). Then a dude from a local radio station came up and asked for a CD... and ASH'S VERY OWN SONG WAS ON THE RADIO THAT NIGHT! Ash has been on the radio in Charleston hundreds of times, but never for his very own music! They played "Water".
Our friends Lindsay Fey and Walsh played with us, along with a dude on tour from the twin cities. They were excellent! Walsh does a mean Radiohead cover.
Don't worry, we recorded the whole thing! (video and audio)! It will be up on the internet as soon as I decide which homework assignment to sacrifice in order to get it done...
