Bellwether is a collection of 7 songs. The songs are in the genre somewhere between evil circus core, bicycle grunge, new-brain-core-rock-pop, PBS documentary music, and Trader Joe's muzak. Hopefully there is something for everyone! I played most everything on it (drums, guitars, upright bass, accordion, synths, glockenspeil, etc) except for bowed strings, which I love writing for but cannot play as I have not spent the necessary cost (one human soul) to have acquired the ability. The strings on Bellwether are taken care of by my wife Giovanna (on violin and viola... she also sings a bit) and our friend Aaron Fried (on violincello).
This record cost me nothing to make except for time. I have no managers or agents to pay. So I have decided to give it away free of any charge. Spread it around. Embrace the 21-st century. D.I.Y. and all that stuff.
Since Bellwether is free and the shows tend to be free, we are driven wholly by donations at this point. Just like Obama! There should be a donation button somewhere around here...
