The crisis is over!
We have TV again, and internet! Yahoo! ;)
I seriously thought people were going to start eating each other yesterday during the snowstorm. We were trapped because a tree fell across the driveway, so not only was it too low for a car to pass, but obviously it couldn't be plowed either! We were running low on supplies....then the tv went out, and the internet. Times were growing bleak, I passed out the last of the snack bars to ease the hunger...we cracked jokes, I promised to go to the Promised Land, Walmart, once the driveway was clear. They hung on to that promise, clinging to their sanity....Then they came! We were saved! They courageously cleared away the snow and my relief came. The men cheered me on as I drove away to pick up supplies.
Precious coffee, and cereal and milk, yes we will survive! ;)
Heh, heh, well you get the picture. They were literally cleaning out the shelves, eating instant mashed potatoes, the last of the pasta and sauce, ritz crackers with what was left of the PB & J. But you know the one thing they DIDN'T touch was THE BAGS OF FROZEN VEGGIES IN THE FREEZER. Heh.
