100 Things #2: Alices Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass
I've kind of always wanted to read these books. I remember not really caring for the Disney animated version of Alice in Wonderland, but the story still stuck with me. Or perhaps the premise of the story? I mean, what kid doesn't imagine exploring some crazy world where you can talk to caterpillars and eating cake makes you shrink. Or was it grow... can't remember! Either way, I ended up seeing another version of Alice that I loved and it just made me want to read the book more. I also have a particular soft spot in my heart for the Jabberwocky poem. I had to memorize it in grade school and I loved it so! Besides, after seeing so many different versions, it would be nice to read the original, ya know?
