Keeping Them Safe
Who: Jennifer Walters and Captain Hammer
What: The Captain brings a few innocents to safety at Avengers Tower and comes to hang out.
When: January 6, early evening
Notes: Beware the awesome.
The tower was louder than usual, and that was because the ninety second floor, which had been home to the Avengers, had a couple of families staying there. Jennifer had invited parents to come, if only because she was not a babysitter, not to mention it would be hard to protect them all if she was busy cleaning up messes and wiping faces. Thus, she let them run rampant around the ninety second floor, after making sure everything dangerous or personal had been removed. All she needed was a group of them going sledding on Captain America's vibranium shield.
She was putting away her own groceries, when she heard the familiar voice of the AI chime in.
Miss Jennifer, someone is approaching the tower.
"Someone?" she asked.
You've spoken to him before. Captain Hammer.
"Oh! He must have someone that needs to come in for shelter."
Oh goody.
Jennifer frowned, "You know, for a logical computer program, there's some pretty real sarcasm in your tone."
There was no reply from Jarvis, so Jennifer quickly put her milk and eggs in the fridge and headed for the elevators. She could meet Captain Hammer in the lobby if she hurried.
