Halloween, pumpkins and cookies.
So poo. It seems that my allergy to pumpkins has progressed in the year it's been since I last encountered them. Last year I was able to have contact with pumpkin goo for a good while before it hurt/burned/itched too much to bear. Today I couldn't stand touching it for the 3 minutes of coring out a pumpkin to feed to assorted rodentia. It seriously felt like someone slammed my hands with a hammer made out of broken glass and salt. My joints hurt, my skin burned and turned red... my hands began to swell. *sigh* Oh well. No more pumpkin exposure for me, I guess. And double caution when making the pies this year for Thanksgiving.... Gah.
Have to go to the grocery to get stuff to make some cookies to send with Arie over to a friend's birthday. Joy, joy. Cookie baking usually makes me happy :D
