Y'know what's worse than not knowing what to write? Having a pretty good idea of what to write, and knowing it'll suck. That's worse. If have to find some way around this. How did I let this happen? I've known this dry stuff was going to happen, so why did I let it all build up to one chapter?
I have FMA manga again. I've read up to fifty-two, or something like that. It's very much good. I have to see the anime. And write something Roy/Riza. And probably some Ed/Winry. But mostly Roy/Riza, because that's as good as anime romance gets. For serious. It's awesome. Not Heero/Relena awesome, but the universe can only contain so much awesome.
I'm hurting for video games here. Maybe I'll mug my poor younger brother and theft Suikoden V from him. I can justify that. To myself.
I need to find a nice, quiet fandom full of only decent writers and settle down. Once, I thought that might be FFCC, but it turns out, that's a very small fandom composed almost exclusively of badfic. Gundam Wing is full of slash, so that's not good either. YGO and FMA are both too popular, and thus are populated largely by idiots. Excel Saga and Chrono Chrusade contain no plot bunnies for me. I love writing this stuff, it's just the people I can't stand. Present company excluded, of course.
