Nothing to report on the eastern front

Oh, KaibaKisara plot bunny... Get thee thou back into thine cage.

I'm pretty wrecked today. Yesterday was out last improv show. Carrying around a 70kg guy on your shoulder for extended periods of time is not only a challenge, but bad for the spine. It was fun... My parents came, which was cool, because they hadn't seen us perform before, but they didn't seem to like it much, which was disappointing. One aims to please, after all. But between eating nothing but junkfood for twenty-four hours and then expelling massive amounts of energy on stage, it will likely take me a little while to recover. Not that I mind, o'ermuch.

FMA manga denies me. I've had a friend downloading them for me, but the last few were corrupted. I should be getting the first twenty four (or was it twenty seven?) episodes subbed soon, so I can jump into that.

I was planning on getting NGE today, but the store was out of stock. I might order it, or I might not, depending on my mood. In other words, depending on whether or not I feel like dealing with people.

A friend of mine is also supposed to lend me some Bleach soon. If he can find it. What a weird life he lives...

But enough about anime.

That's a ridiculous statement. Enough about anime... psshaw.

Volunteering = annoying. I'm all for the betterment of mankind, but there's got to be a more efficient way than soup-ladelling. If I'm to be of any use to mankind, it will not be because of my ladelling prowess.

Progress continues on my writer's craft project. It's a children's story that we said needed a decidedly Miyazaki flair. It includes a reverse windmill. I like it. Then again, there are certainly parts of it that're just my style of weird. Like a swordswoman that has foresworn using a sword until she avenges her hometown. Instead, she uses a stale baguette. To great effect.

RE4 is less fun when you have the infinite rocket launcher and the chicago typewriter. I have to find something new to play. Mayhaps I shall finally get back to levelling up in Dragon Quest VIII. A certain boss continues to defeat me, despite my obvious prowess. I love that game. Also, I've had the strangest craving for a tactical RPG lately. Anyone know a good one?

That's it for now.
