Blue eyes met green. Color started to show on his cheeks. He smiled.

That entire last line was just perfect. Fucking perfect.

Also, I loved this Canadian winters., haha. I thought it added a bit of humor in it and I love how you were able to bring it around full circle at the end with bringing the romance into it, kinda (if that makes any sense, I can't figure out a way to word it).

But I really loved it and I hope you start writing (and posting!) more.
