I did not have to bury my mother in the rain. The weather's been a bit off here but, during the service and at the cemetery, there was no rain. I don't know why that feels significant to me, but it does. I want to imagine that she is finally happy and safe, and perhaps the lack of rain helps with that? I don't know.
