Staying Up Late
to watch my Eagles beat the Cowboys. (That is, if I can manage staying up that late.)
Football has been incredibly exciting this year, I must admit. Also, and to my dismay, as much as I want to hate Brett Favre, I just can't. I can't do it.
God, but I do love football.
In other news, I share this quotation by Lao Tzu: "Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage." I am not sure I have ever read anything truer.
I wish I could capture our love affair in ways others could understand. I wish I could explain it fully. But I can't. I have never been loved unselfishly before, and I am not sure I have ever loved unselfishly, and I suppose no one will really understand what I mean by any of this unless they've been there, too--or are there right now. Love is.
I am lucky, and I am blessed. No one could convince me otherwise.
