Well mine and Si's first game was on Thursday last week, it seemed to go quite well. We have picked up a new member to the team, Lee who is playing an Iosian guy. For random talk about campaign read below:
For a full line up we have:
Dawn - An arcane mechanic from Ord, but living in Khador
Tim - A Khardian soldier
Jim - Rifle dude from Llael
Steven - Rapier twit, and cucumber sandwich man
Lee - As said above! a dodgy ionsian guy (Iosians are elves)
The first adventure was a mercenary/khardian military split, with half the party with Si, and half with me. We did kind of end up with a few problems due me and si making things slightly different (nothing major really). Overall I think it went quite well, but it is a beginning. Really pleased with Tim's character as he seems to be roleplaying quite well! I suspect everything will fall into place once everyone settles into their characters, I'm hoping with random NPC chats i can give a better image of the world, but its all practice makes perfect.
Me and Si had a huge "plotting" session yesterday, however alas it just seem to deteriorate into who could draw the shiniest map, I think Si won with all the colours he began adding. We also ending up creating an insane long list of NPCs. The one minor problem was that we hadn't thought of much plot... which was a minor problem. However with so many NPC's plot just seemed to make itself, which was great.
We're hoping it can create a nice indepth place for all the characters to enjoy.
After mine and Si's plotting yesterday Jim came over and we decided to play a short game of Warcraft the boardgame which i had just picked up for RPG soc. We finished just after 2:30am... so much for the 60 to 90 minutes!
Got exam results back on monday, all went well except one which i was a bit annoyed about, but it seems everyone else did bad in it. This means that moderation shall occur, why it didn't happen there and then i don't know, we just seem to have got the raw marks, so alot of people have failed, which isn't good!
Well better get back to doing something! Not sure quite what, but i feel plotting is in order.
