Indian Soul Food Buffet

That's right. The Earthen Jar was quite the amazing experience. I am so happy that I took the opportunity to try it out. Great Indian vegetarian food set up in a buffet catering to all who walk through it's open door (even a curious little sparrow that I saw while eating). The food and environment in the restaurant was so Earthy. The gentleman at the register was helpful and did point out some great dishes for me to try (yum spicy lentils and vegetarian food). Anyways, while I do want to make it a point to frequent this new haven of great vegetarian cuisine, am going have to keep exploring and find other local good eats...hopefully it will involve lentils...I think I want to make lentil soup again....

Checked out the rest of the exhibits I missed in The University of Michigan Museum of Art. Saw some wonderful photographs by Richard Barnes. Mainly it was a commentary on the curation of natural history museum exhibits. UMMA projects is featuring the work of Lisa Anne Auerbach (very rad). It included a lot of rad slogans on knitted sweater vests and skirts. My personal favorite sweater vest from her exhibit had the "Thank God I am an Atheist" slogan on it. ^.^ But there were several other great feminist, pro-choice, and liberal inspired slogan vests on exhibit. Plus there were a few photos of really tiny stores...which is bitchin'.

Been busy, busy, busy. Mainly with work, the lab, Okcupid, drinking...fun can be work. :)
