For all and any whom want to know...

Well, I suppose I must make it known to people the skim over my journal entries (or cares) that I am leaving on Friday and I won't be back until the 27th. I am leaving to go with my high school Outdoor Challenge group to Wisconsin to kayak and backpack for a week and a half. Honestly, I really don't feel like going. However I made certain financial and other obligations (promises to friends) that prevent me from staying home. So...I am ready to make the most of it (like I can do anything else)!

Yeah, and I am probably going to send time up at a cabin from the beginning of July to the 9th.

I kinda get the feeling that I should be involved in more. I consciously have been coasting up until my vacations. I feel that I didn't have much of a choice but to do so. It isn't like I could have gotten a job at the beginning of the summer that would allow me to take time off. Also, my mother wants me to take it easy so I could spend time up at the cabin one more time. So, considering the situation, I decided to make this my last summer vacation.

So, here is it is. My last stand to truly take it easy and how do I feel? More restless and bored than I did while up at school. I see the same friends day in and day out (its not that I don't enjoy their company but, I need some variety in my life). I am not needed at work. Basically I "fill in" times that were already covered before I started this year. Oh yeah? Did I mention I haven't been on a date for at least two years (and that is probably stretching the definition of "date").

It isn't that I can't find how fortunate I am. I just think that I come back I need to make some changes to show how much I appreciate it. I don't make resolutions but, I certainly make goals. So, here they are:

1) Finish packing for trip (one step at a time folks).
2) Find a work study job at the university.
3) Call friends or just people I know that I haven't seen in awhile.
4) Ride the motorcycle more often.
5) The Lake Erie thing I mentioned before? Totally.
6) Find a club or organization to do volunteer work for.
7) Read more (I am going to tear up my biology and chemistry book).
8) Get a better sleep schedule (dude, look at this post, I started writing at like 3:30 am)

So yeah, if you want to talk or see me call me today. If not... well...don't, I suppose. However, I will be busy when I get back. That's for damn sure.

You know some "comments," ideas, or suggestions would be greatly really nice. Just to make sure I am mad or not yet.

See ya'
