Got a great bit of validation recently:
My Mum had gotten home from college a few weeks ago, and I went out to help her bring things in quickly. She had a grocery bag in her hand, and I asked her what she'd gotten. She pulled out this nice shawl, and I told her it looked cool. She responded by telling me, "I would have gotten you one, but boys don't wear them."
It. Felt. Fantastic.
So, other than that, I've been called 'boy' at school quite a few times by strangers. I found an easier way to bind without it hurting at all. And. That's pretty much it.
