In war there is no good guys or bad guys, there is merely winners and losers.

There were bad people within the nazis many in leadership and alot of their retoric was evil but the war was fought against the german army. Most german soldiers would not be classified as evil. Had germany won the war most of the world would be reading about the traitorous americans.

By example you should read some british text books about the american revolutionary war. British students are taught things in a far different light then what we are and it depicts some of our founding fathers as evil and dastardly traitors.

While the war was fought against the German army, without the rise of evil men, there would have been no need to take on the Wehrmacht. It truly was a war against evil men, even if we had to kill good men to get at them. And, yes, had Germany won, history would read differently. However, their ability to propagandize does not imply moral equivalence.

Hell, the Japanese don't even teach that their troops attacked Pearl Harbor or committed atrocities in the Far East. Does that mean they might not have?

Most of us only know what we are taught, a few go out and learn more. Reality is shaped by what knowledge you are given and any situation can be made to look good or evil. History is based more on perception then actual fact unfortunately. Facts often get lost in time.
