Excellent interview with Philippa Gregory

Just got back from a Historical Fiction session at the Johnson Co. (KS) library. It was really interesting and we got to watch most of a recorded webcast with Philippa Gregory. Not exactly. I'm on the other side of the state line in dear ol' MO. Most of the sessions we go to for the Reader's Advisory cert. are either Mid- continent or Johnson Co.

I haven't read Bridge of Sighs yet but Mr. Nightdog has. We've been big fans of Richard Russo ever since The Risk Pool and Nobody's Fool, and I got a totally goofy vicarious thrill when I saw that RSL mentioned he was reading it.
