FM April Topic: What do you believe in?

Jubilee hadn't really believed in very much for a very long time. She'd thought that she could believe in a lot of things, but the foster care system quickly changed her mind. She'd thought that she could believe that life was fair, but she couldn't even touch a video game system now without blowing it up.

But then she'd met the X-Men. They had shown her what she could believe in. She could believe in Professor Xavier's dream. She could believe that she would always have a place to call home and a real family. She could believe that Jean and Storm would be there to help her with her homework. She could believe that Hank would always be able to make her laugh. She could believe that Logan would always be there for her.

And for the first time in a long time, she could believe in herself. They had shown her how strong she could be.
