Last week a friend cornered me about my third-party voting.

He set up a 'perfect' scenario....
If it was a perfect 50/50 split between Republicans and Democrats,
and knowing I am a liberal,
would I change my vote to Democrat,
if it kept the Republican out of office.
If MY vote was THE vote the mattered..

Only once did I ever have an issue locating a job,
but it was winter between 2007 and the summer of 2008...
the news told us it was *not* a "recession" let alone a "depression"
