HUH?
I packed my first two boxes.
I know, I know.. Im both ashamed of my slow-start in this "packing thing" and yet surprised that I got any of it done at all before Sept 30th.
I just wanted to state my amazement at my collection of hair, skin and beauty supplies.
Rollers, hair dye, conditioner, lotion, hot oil treatments, gels, sprays, shadows, curlers, tweezers, clippers, blushes, mascaras, lipsticks, foundation, powders, cleansers, scrubs,...
TWO BOXES OF THEM!
Hair accessories, perfumes, glosses, bleaches, brushes, sharpeners, creams....
TWO BOXES!
Im not talking shoe-boxes, here. Im talking MOVING BOXES.
And being as how I bet my co-workers believe I wouldnt know eyelash curlers from hairpins,... yeah. Im impressed.
A good 30lbs worth of beauty crap... and strangely, I use it all pretty regularly....
I just don't run around putting on every beauty product I own everyday. My looks don't rub off and leave greasy pinkish smears on my shirt or on pillows... so therefore everyone assumes I dont use all that much. Muahah, little do they know. Well, Jesse knows how nuts I go with dramatic eyeshadow.. lol...
But yeah... anyways..
I have lots of crap. Two boxes worth. 30lbs worth. Hundreds of dollars worth. At LEAST hundreds of dollars worth... maybe more? Maybe.
Ya know,... I like being comfortable who I am. I HAVE those things, but I dont feel like I need to use them to be good looking. Yet there are all those girls who really ARE actually pretty without makeup, running around being crazy and not feeling "pretty" or "sexy" without $100 worth of high-brand makeups covering most of their skin.
And on the other hand, I, the girl who likes makeup, but doesn't feel like she NEEDS it, is the one who is better at actually PUTTING ON the makeup... whereas these other girls who wear it every day look like they were shot with Homer's Makeup Shotgun for the Girl on the Go.
I have to go to bed.
I just wanted to marvel... and inadvertantly complain about PPG@W and those like her...
