hospital visits and scares
so an update
my surgery went fine. they knocked me completely out, *which was fun* and i woke up with pains in my shoulder (access gas from the procedure built up in that spot) and then i started to have soreness in my stomach, no surprise.
im recovering and we get a call from my aunt saying that dad was across the street at the other hospital. He has a blood clot from the surgery he had earlier in the week. so my mom and my aunt switched places and my aunt took me home. everything is still kind of a blur, lots was happening, i was worried about my dad....i was still very much medicated....
but my dads gunna be fine, they have him on blood thiners and stuff to dissinegrate the blood clot. I think emily was more upset than anyone else. Dad will hopefully be home by thanksgiving. his birthday however (today) is going to have to be spent at the hospital..
oh yeah,...me..
im still ok, kinda sore, more bored and worried about dad than anything. of course the pain is worse without the medication, but we are going to see if we can gradually get me off of that today so i wont get addicted.the pain i guess is a little more than i wanted, but not as bad as i expected i guess. it really hurts to cough and hiccup (for those of you who know me, that constitutes a problem)
but please keep my family in your thoughts, especially my dad. this is a crazy holiday for everyone, lets just hope everyone gets through it without a mental breakdown.
