Eurovision
I was listening to excerpts of the entries for this year's Eurovision.
WTF, France's entry is an Italian opera?! Is it 2012 already?!
... Oh, wait. That's Corsican. Interesting. o.O I can actually understand some of it...
I don't think this song has any chance of winning, but this year, I'm totally rooting for France. XD
I couldn't really see anything special about most other songs. Maybe I'll learn to like some of them after listening to them some more, but for now, they all sound the same to me. Except Portugal's. When I saw the clip, I was horribly amused and baffled. I thought, oh, so this year's clown-entry is Portugal's, huh? But when you just listen to the song instead of watching what the singers are doing, it's not such a bad song. I mean, I've seen a lot worse in Eurovision. At least it doesn't irritate me or put me to sleep (which is what Portugal's entries usually do).
So, I'm rooting for France and I'm kind of rooting for Portugal (and maybe Spain, too)... What the...? Is is 2012?! D8
