When I watched France's entry in the final, I thought, "Ohshit, France isn't going to win..."
When I watched Azerbaijan's entry in the final, I immediately realised, "Ohshit, Azerbaijan is going to win..."
I wish I'd been wrong! ;A;
Those two facts were painfully obvious, though. France's draw was very unfavourable, and Amaury was too tense and nervous. You can't be nervous when you sing this kind of music - which isn't exactly popular among teenagers to begin with... Azerbaijan, on the other hand, had a very favourable draw and... it suddenly struck me as the song that would stand out to most viewers and really appeal to them.
Spain, Estonia... you didn't deserve those low positions... :/
