Matantei Loki: Volume 07, Chapter 33
Now that I’m practically on holidays and my Internet connection is (apparently) fixed, I’ve been able to indulge in manga translation that I’ve been meaning to do for months. This time I plan to translate most of chapter 33 of Volume 07.
This is probably one of my favourite chapters in the whole series, for many reasons: Fenrir makes his first appearance; Yamino plays detective, gives us some insight into his past and feelings about Thor/Narugami, uncharacteristically loses his composure, and picks a lock (where/when/how did he learn to do that?!); the two brothers have a little adventure together; Loki turns back to his adult form; Heimdall is angsty, then funny, and very adorable; and finally there’s a little family reunion. :3
However, since the chapter is so long, I’ll post it in parts of about five pages. Here’s the first part.
