Other cakes from this week
This was for a bridal shower. The inside is strawberry and vanilla zebra cake.
Outside was all buttercream with fondant accents. The roses took forever. They aren't my forte, but they came out alright!
I'm not so great at making buttercream smooth. I wish it was a bit more polished.
This girl drove all the way from Indianapolis. That's like 2 and a half hours! Just to buy a cake from me! I guess she saw my blog and liked my work. She contacted me like 2 months ago about it. Kind of wild!
It was for her friend's 21st. Her name was Tiffany lol.
I had a ton of fun making this. All the tiers were chocolate/vanilla zebra cake.
All fondant. I got the tiara in the party gift section at the store for $1... and it lit up! Awesome. The only thing I didn't like was that I'd planned pearl boarders, but ended up not being able to find the right tip in my set, so I ended up doing a star boarder. Hm. I need to re-buy some tips. I keep losing them.
I did the 21 with candy melt and tossed sprinkles and dragees on it.
