Today was a really long day!
We didn't crawl out of bed until around 12:30. I really needed the sleep because I've been working non-stop. I NEVER get to sleep that late either.
We got up and went to Ikea. While we were there, we kept saying "Just the comforter, we're just here to get a new comforter. Our old one from there, we liked a lot. It met an untimely fate when the cat... as it turned out was not as box-trained as we thought he was and peed on it one of the first nights we let him sleep in the bed. Sigh. I didn't even want to try to clean it... I just threw it out and we figured we'd get a new one. We've been using this hideous floral thing Brian's grandma got us...
Anyhow, we get there and immediately put a throw blanket for the chair in the cart. Oops. Well... that's only $6... no big deal! So then... we're wandering and we pick the comforter out quickly then we see the duvet covers annnd wellll... we could use a new set... to go with the new blanket... so we pick on out... then we got toys for the kids (animals...) and by the time we left, we almost spent $100... when we went in for a $30 blanket... Best part? We are stupid and bought a down comforter... We can't use it because Brian had an asthma attack the last time we slept under a down comforter. Soo we have to take it back. Sigh.
On the way out, I purchased a a cone of lingenberry frozen yogurt... I basically had an orgasm as soon as it touched my lips. Holy fucking shit. I could have eaten ten cones of that. Oh god it was so good.
After that, we went to Jungle Jims to pick up stuff for a cookout with Brian's parents later.
Always fun! Jungle Jims is always a blast and one of the coolest places you could ever shop.
We spent way too much money there as well... but so worth it lol... god best place ever.
Then we came home, got the dog and took off for Troy. We went to Brian's parents and made some tasty kabobs!
I got some new cider, it was really good. Hardcore Cider lol.

When we got home, I just put the duvet cover on the floral blanket, I don't like the blanket itself, but until we can return the old one and get the new one, it will do.
I REALLY can't wait til we get around to painting these walls!
