Brian and I are both sick as hell today. I was getting there all weekend, but now I'm full on sick like crazy. It sucks because we have to go to work. *sigh*

We got up this morning and went to the bank and then got cold medicine and McDonald's breakfast. I haven't had that in a long time.

I feel pretty darn awful. My nose won't stop running. I sneeze constantly, my whole head is pounding. My throat has hurt for over a week now.

I slept like a rock last night. We watched Slumdog Millionaire and then Iron Chef, I'm kind of bummed because I made it through the whole episode right until the judging, I missed who won. Oh well. I bet it was Morimoto. He's the bomb. Anyhow, I had barely slept in three days so as soon as my eyes closed last night, I don't remember waking up or anything during the night at all. I was OUT.

As for Slumdog Millionaire... hm. I mean... what can I say? I'd like to say I loved it and it was amazing and I'm so glad I watched it etc etc. Well, I just don't know about all that. I would NOT watch it again. It wasn't a bad movie, but I didn't find it amazing, personally.
Maybe it's because I was completely emotionally and physically drained from my weekend, but I thought it was really long and drawn out. I had no idea what it was about when I turned it on, so I had no real expectations. I was also really unimpressed with whoever mixed and mastered the audio for the movie. I want to find that asshole and punch him in the face.

Some parts of the audio were so low, I had to turn my sound up to like 35 just to make out what they were saying, but then I'd have to keep my finger on the volume button because god forbid they cut right right from people talking to a scene on the tv set because it would blast my speakers and need to be turned all the way down to 20 for it to be comfortable!! It was really bad.

The end of the movie was pretty good, it was the only part I was some what sitting up alert for waiting to see what would happen. And well, after the movie when all the actors were dancing around... that shit made my life... oh bollywood...

blah... gotta go to work soon. and i think it's raining.

slumdog millionaire, sick, tired, movie
