Cake for mom
Mother's Day Cakes!
I've found for some reason it's a lot to ask of people to take an entire cake home with them. Evidently, a whole cake... well, it's a lot of cake lol. Especially in houses with only two people.
So, I made on cake, four layers; alternating white and lemon cake, and cut it in half. I covered them both in orange fondant and went from there.
Tiger stripes for my mom
Flower's for Brian's mom
Thankfully Brian's mom's favorite color is orange and my mom loves tigers. So I only had to make one large batch of fondant for covering.
I just hope one of them gets cut open for dessert after dinner tonight!! I wanna eat some cake!
I'm off to cook dinner!
