here we go again

ihearttattoos is annoying the shit out of me again the past couple of days. We've had a rash of tribal posts... which... well, there's a reason no one posts tribal on there hardly ever... because no one in that community understands how to bite their tongues and just keep scrolling.
The first comments on both posts were just people saying "NO." or ":(" Okay, like, I understand you don't agree with it and you think it's the worst idea of what someone could put on their body. I don't like tribal. I think it's unoriginal and I don't like the way it looks at all, but that's my opinion and I keep it to myself. I'm not going out of my way to make anyone feel bad about the choice they made. They are obviously fine with it.
Don't these people understand the best way to get their point across is to leave the post in a community where posts normally get a LOT of comments, without any comments. If the post went a day without comments, the OP would probably just realize that the post wasn't of relevant interest to the majority of the community.
The issue is most heavily tattooed people are elitist assholes. I'm no exception. I will turn my nose up at a lot of tattoos, but guess what? I have manners and will still take the time to look at whatever trailer trash tattoo your friend's pal did in your basement while you're practically taking your shirt off in the middle of the grocery store to show me that, yes, you too, are, in fact, a tattooed person. I will thank you for showing me, I will thank you for telling me you like mine and I will be on my way. I would never look at someone's tattoo and go "OMG NO." It's rude. If they like it, fuck it. To each their own.

Anyhow, I'm making a cake today. I made a bunch of florals last night too. I don't know. I think it's going to look like a big pile of ass. I don't have a whole lot of confidence in the whole thing for some reason. I don't think I got enough buttercream and I don't think I have the right tips for the trim. I don't know. We'll see what happens I guess.

cake, community, tattoos, ihearttattoos, tribal
