I now completely loath the first flower I made hahaha... Brian took a bite out of it lol.
I made a second one tonight that I'm much happier with. Much more delicate and more realistic. I'm struggling with the gum paste drying and cracking before I can get it shaped the way I wanted.
Between what Beth sent me and what I got this weekend, this is all my cake stuff so far.
I'm trying to get a kitchen aid mixer as my next big purchase. I think I could get one within a couple of months of saving.
So far, I'm really enjoying everything I've been doing. I'm trying to make my first decorated cake on Wednesday since that's my next day off. I made some other small florals tonight and I'm going to make some more tomorrow night.
Gibson is doing well. Him and Eddy have been really good pals the past couple of days.
OMG. As I typed that... he jumped on my keyboard, I pulled him off and with him went my "k" key! FML. How the hell does this thing go back on??? I've never successfully pulled an i-book key off before. They're really flat. I can still push the little button thing with no problem, but the key itself popped off. Ugh.
Now he's chewing on the side of the monitor, trying to get my attention.
