I quite like the ending, and going back to expand one of the earlier scenes didn't take too long.

I still have to go back and read it through and edit, because I know that some days I was writing and I did not like anything I was writing at all, but first draft final word count is ~9,300 words.

Now I just need to come up with a title

Ended up writing 1,268 words, which is good for me.

Except now i can see the ending in sight, and I'm not quite ready to finish writing. I might go back to an earlier part and rewrite it so it's a bit more horror-y.

And I've also reached that point where I need to start thinking of a title.

Well I actually got back on Monday but shhhI was busy packing and then repacking all week, and I was out of the habit of writing but I managed to edit a bit of my Merlin Horror and patch some things together so I can continue writing it now - my plan is to have it finished by the 19th September so then I have a month to edit and find a beta who can ( Read more... )

So right now my Merlin Horror word count stands at 6,555. I've mostly joined up the random scenes that I've been writing in labs with the rest of it, just one more bit to work out. I have realised that it isn't exactly very horror-y though, so that's something to sort out when I'm editing.

Mainly because I've been writing bits in my notebook, or I wouldn't have much time so I'd only write a few hundred words. The word count is now at 4,531 though so that's good. I don't think I'm actually that far from finishing, but I know some of what I've written isn't very good so I'll go back and rewrite it.

My Merlin Horror word count now stands at 2,740.

I'm not completely happy with what I've written, but I'll go back and edit it another time.

Mainly because I was writing in my lab book while I was waiting for my experiments to do things.I have at least 6 pages of A5 paper of two random scenes of my Merlin Horror that will most likely be expanded upon when I type them up. Not a lot, mind, only 413 words, but that's better than nothing, and hopefully I'll start to write more once I get into the swing of things. I'm planning on splitting it up into about 7 parts - 8 at a push - and they shouldn't be much longer than 1000 words each, so hopefully I'll get this done quite easily.

I wrote 830 words tonight, which means that I've got 7,250 overall and that I've finished the main story. I've just got to go back and write the sex scenes (for some reason I always leave them to write last), then I'll edit it, and then I'll see if I can get someone to Beta it.
