First off: Mom and I have been back in Berlin since Friday night, while Dad had to stay behind in the hospital. Apparently, he's been steadily getting better since the antibiotics kicked fully in and there's talk of him coming home tomorrow or Thursday. Here's to hoping that it'll all be okay in the end

#1 is there a story you’re holding off on writing for some reason?

#2 what work of yours, if any, are you the most embarrassed about existing?

Good question. I'm trying not to be embarrassed about any of my works because they're all part of my journey as a writer and each of them was a necessary step to get me where I am today. But yes, some of the very early works (the stuff I wrote at 14) are very much embarrassing, and I'm kinda glad that I didn't know what fanfiction was or that there were ways to publish it on the internet back then.

#14 do you make playlists for your current wips?

Mhnope, not for the WIPs but for some of the one-shot collections. They usually incorporate songs from the one-shots I already wrote (as I usually use a song quote at the beginning of the story, and the story usually references the song in tone, theme or mood), in the order of the stories. I also have thematic playlists (sad stuff, slow stuff, summer stuff, soldier stuff, Vietnam War era stuff, etc.) I like to listen to when I'm writing stories that suit the theme of the playlists.

#22 are there any subjects that make you uncomfortable to write?

Yes. I've been trying to make my cast more racially diverse but I'm struggling because I'm afraid of being offensive. Okay, so that's actually not making me uncomfortable, more like making me kinda anxious and nervous. Same thing with characters with sexual orientations other than heterosexual. I'm not uncomfortable writing them, but I find it err challenging because I want to get it right and not be offensive.

Things that actually make me uncomfortable... mh. Currently probably writing stuff about medical emergencies because of that whole thing with Dad but other than that... no, not really.
