Okay, I finally started working on my female soldiers in TV/movies. My first plan was to choose one show that hasn't been detailed in my big work of reference, Yvon Tasker's Soldiers' Stories: Military Women in Cinema and Television since World War II but apparently, my slightly deluded brain thought I needed to make this bigger and decided that I might need too make this more into a "female soldiers and pop culture" sort of thing, trying to analyze if pop culture had any hand in changing (or not changing) how people see female soldiers in the real world.
So now you, dear flisters, have been chosen for a randomly compiled questionnaire that I mostly made so I didn't have to start writing already and I'd be very, very happy if you'd take part in my little survey. If you'd like to, you can also pimp in to your flists since it's open to anyone with an LJ account and I'd be happy about anyone who participates. Let's get this party started! (It's FOR SCIENCE! The humanities. Whatever. SCIENCE!)
Poll Pop culture and female soldiers AAnd now I'll get myself a cup of extra strong tea. Shit, I'm tired :S
