The women officers' lunch meetings shouldn't be confused with the Atlantis Ladies' Poker Night. Poker night is a cross-discipline affair - military, research and medical are all represented. (And, yes, it's where cross-disciplinary problems are aired, if not always resolved. Rarely resolved, in fact. And Dr Saunders is banned for precisely that reason

SO MUCH! I like to think that they're all so very terrified because screw Woolsey and Sheppard. The female soldiers round table is what really rules Atlantis and those knowing about it are afraid of it while those who aren't afraid of it just are too stupid to know about it. Yes.

Sheppard certainly knows it, and is conspicuous in his absence when he knows they're going to be there. Occasionally they switch up the days, because his expression when he sees them is priceless...
